NUTRITION ANSWERS TO COMMON AILMENTS
Good
health depends on a balanced diet, regular exercise, adequate rest and proper nutrition.
Our body will actually obtain the necessary nutrients from the food that we eat everyday but
the following environmental factors will hinder this process:
- Polluted Environment
- Chemicals Added Food
- Highly Processed Food
Therefore, in order to ensure
our body gets the necessary nutrients we need food supplements. Food supplements are for those who believe their daily diet
does not supply their needs, and who prefer to give themselves added insurance.
The majority of ailments and diseases occuring at the present moment has its roots in imbalanced
diet and unhealthy eating habits. The following general information is not a recommendation for people to treat themselves
- a person with an ailment should go to his doctor for diagnosis and treatment. However, we hope the information will stimulate
your interest in taking greater care of your own body and its general well being. After all, it is yours and the only one
you will ever have.
We would like to reiterate that nutrition with food supplementation is only one of the factors
leading to good health - please do not neglect your diet, exercise and rest.
HEALING CRISIS
In the process of detoxifying
and rebuilding the body, one may encounter a phenomenon known as "Healing Crisis". This has the outward appearance of a diseases
process, but is in reality the body triumphing over a burden it has been carrying for years.
During a healing crisis, the body relives a disease condition it had in the past, but usually
for only a period of 3 to 4 days, and not usually with the same severity as the original disease. It happens particularly
in those who have suppressed their original disease with drugs. Such biochemical interference obliterates or poisons the symptoms
without doing anything for the underlying causes. If, for example, a person had a certain ailment ten years ago, in the process
of cleaning and rebuilding, she or he may relive some of the symptoms, as the body is finally able to tend to the causes.
Weak organs in our bodies tend to store toxins and are also unable to utilize nutrients. As
they become stronger, however, they are finally able to throw off their burdens of drugs and waste products. Milder forms
of this process usually lasting only 5 to 10 days.
Usually, it takes a great deal of time and effort to bring on a healing crisis. For those who
do experience some discomfort as their bodies adjust to the "stirring up of toxins", it is important to understand that this
is a natural period of rebalancing.
